Amplifies all sounds like a hearing aid but dont waste your money on the upgrade (filter) as it was very disappointing.

Ive tested this and a few others like it using noise canceling headphones. This one is head and shoulders better.

Save your money, or buy a lottery ticket (or two) instead of buying this krap!!

With the filter "on" there is a digital noise under the real sounds. Very annoying. If the filter is off it works very well. Please fix the filter and then you will get 5 stars!

I have very weak and complex hearing loss on both ears Since last four years I tried all kind of hearing aids and apps I-hear is the best of all It has apples mind set and quality with simplification . Top of it very fast response to any help.

This app is terrible. The latency makes it difficult to speak and the background noise filter was written poorly and it clicks. Save your earache and get soundAMP R or EarMachine instead.

My friend showed me your up because I had lost my hearing a few years ago. And recently had a accident with my hearing aids and they were crushed so I had to send them out for repair. So to make a long story short I am using your App for all my hearing needs with my cell phone and just regular business. It has been a real blessing especially during the holidays. I plan on using it all the time now especially as a back up for my Hearing aids. I am very satisfied with his performance. It is Very dependable and I am very thankful for it. Tried this to see if it would help me pick up high frequency sounds better. Very tinny sound and long delay. Not very usable to improve hearing.

Sound quality is terrible ! Sounds like your in an echo chamber. Waste of money

A waste of money as far as Im concerned.

My hearing aids are old dont work well. While Im waiting for my new, it was very hElpful at a meeting with a speaker who has a very soft quiet voice; i could hear all the conversations! QualitY is "tinny" but it works in a pinch. So glad i found this.

I have to say...Thank You so much for this app. I have lost so much of my hearing and this app has made it possible (if folks slow their speech a little) for me to participate in conversations again. Thank You!

Useless. Filtering does nothing. Hardly amplifies sound.

Very helpful for people with difficulty hearing. I use the filter function to knock out background noise. I also use it to boost tv volume in my very own isolated feed through earbuds. No more cranking the tv up to loud volume. My wife says thank you!

I bought it today, and basicly tossed my money away. So far I havent seen any of these hearing aid apps that work really well. Save your money.

Why doesnt this app use Bluetooth headphones like my LG Tone Plus???

I tried this as a way to help my mom when I was speaking to her. She doesn’t have an iPhone so it wasn’t going directly into her ear - it wouldn’t have been able to anyway since her hearing aid isn’t bluetooth compatible - but it didn’t enhance the sound at all.

The app amplifies sound, all sound. Background noise is significantly more noticeable which takes away from the experience. Voices sound distant and hollow but that could just be the quality if the microphone. Better background noise filtering will improve the experience.
